ShadowNurse, Inc. (“SN,” “we,” “us”) collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information related to our consumer-facing Platform. We collect personal information to provide and improve our website and programs, communicate with you, secure our systems, and meet legal obligations.
We disclose information to contracted service providers and independent clinical entities at your direction. ShadowNurse does not currently sell or share personal information under California law.

This Privacy Policy describes how ShadowNurse, Inc. collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information related to our consumer-facing Platform. For clinical services by independent professional entities, please review their separate notices and policies.

- Identifiers & Contact: name, email, phone, address, device IDs
- Account & Usage: login credentials, activity, interactions, preferences, support tickets
- Device/Technical: IP address, browser/OS, cookies, SDKs, diagnostics, log files
- Payment: processed by payment processors (card data held by processor)
- Care Coordination Data: information provided for navigation and benefits verification
- From Others: service providers, authorized partners, or public sources
How We Use Information
Operations include: providing and improving Services, securing and debugging systems, processing requests, personalizing non-marketing content, communicating about features, analytics, legal compliance, fraud/abuse protection, and marketing (with consent where required).

SMS & Text Messaging Disclosures
Consent
We send SMS only when you provide your mobile number and give consent (e.g., by checking a box on a web form or replying affirmatively by text). Consent is not a condition of purchase or service receipt.
Non-Sharing of Mobile Numbers
We do not sell or share mobile numbers with third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes. Service providers access numbers solely to deliver messaging under contracts prohibiting their independent use.

Message frequency varies by program and user interaction. Message and data rates may apply.

Privacy & Security
Standard SMS is not encrypted and may be read by your carrier or others with device access. Users should avoid sending sensitive information via text; designated secure channels should be used instead.
Disclosures of Personal Information
Information is disclosed to:
- Service providers and processors (hosting, analytics, support, communications, payments) under contractual limits
- Professional entities you choose
- Legal and safety recipients
- Corporate transaction participants (merger, acquisition)
We do not allow service providers to use personal information for their own purposes.
Sale/Share and Targeted Advertising (California)
SN does not currently “sell” or “share” personal information or engage in cross-context behavioral advertising as defined by California law. If ShadowNurse later engages in such activities, the policy will be updated, Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals will be honored, and a “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” mechanism will be provided.
Retention
We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes above, consistent with legal, regulatory, and operational requirements. Criteria include account status, contractual obligations, dispute resolution, and security.
Security
We implement administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the nature of the information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
Children
The Services are not directed to individuals under 18. If ShadowNurse learns it collected information from a child under 18, it will delete the data.
Your Privacy Rights (California)
California residents may have rights to:

- Opt out of sale/share
- Opt out of certain profiling
- Limit sensitive personal information use
- Freedom from discrimination for exercising rights
Submitting Requests
Submit requests at: hello+privacy@shadownurse.com. We will verify your request and may deny where an exception applies. Users may authorize agents with proper documentation. ShadowNurse honors GPC signals.
Request Handling & Timelines
We will confirm receipt of a verifiable request within 10 days and respond within 45 days (or explain why we need up to 90 days). ShadowNurse may request additional information for identity verification and will explain any denial. Users may submit two requests per 12-month period. We do not discriminate for exercising rights.
International Users
If you access the Services from outside the U.S., you consent to processing in the U.S. Laws in other countries may differ.
Changes
We will post updates with a new effective date and, for material changes, provide additional notice.
